Entry in US using AP

Just wanted to share.
My wife just came back from India.She had 2 original APS.
INS officer stamped one and returned both of them along with new I-94.She was taken to different section to complete this process.That was very straightforward process..only asked her to show passport and APS...no question asked.

I went through Chicago port of entry. They just took one copy of AP and reviewed I-485 receipt and let me go.
