i am planning to visit my brother in USA for a few weeks. But i am told that there is virtually NIL chance of me getting a visa, because of my profile. I am 26 years old unmarried and run my own business here in INDIA.
Basically i want to visit US for visiting US b-schools campuses and give interviews. I have give GMAT for admission to MBA in the USA. Hence i wanted to first visit the b-schools to which i will be applying and also give interviews for them where possible. What do you think my chances are.
i personally think, the reason is pretty vaild. i got a decent score and am working on application. i had sat for GMAT in 2002 and in 2005, i guess one would not wait for so long to apply for a visitors visa, if immigrating to USA was the only intention, i waited to get a better score to increase my chances of admission to a US b-school. And also if i am correct, one cannot get a student from from within USA, should i try to settle down there. Thus i will have to return to INDIA.
any advice or suggestion or any other information on this will be highly apprecaited.
