I am an International student in US on an F-1 visa. My I-20 expired last month and I got it extended (but didn't change my study program). My visa has also expired.My wife is staying with me in US on a F-2 visa (dependent on me). But her visa doesn't expire till one year from now (She got a visa for a duration longer than the Duration of Stay). I wanted to know that if she goes backs to our home country(India) alone, will she have any problem in coming back on the same visa? I wanted to know this because I am worried that since I got the new I-20 after my old I-20 expired, does she also need to get a new visa when entering the US the next time even thought her visa hasn't expired?
