Entering US from a 3rd country

If I had immigration interview in US consulate in country A and got immigration visa there, can I got to country B and then enter US from country B using the IV? Will the POE care which country the IV is issued from? Please advise. Thanks a lot!

Entry from a third country don't matter

An individual can go as many countries as needed before entering US and after getting the immigration visa from his/her home country with in the 6 months validity period of immigrant visa..

In a way, all the individuals that are about 8,000 to 10,000 miles away from US, will have to stop or change planes in a third country before entering US.
