Entered name, info while crossing border into there COMPUTER

Hello Everyone,

I and my wife took H1 and H4 visas, while coming back at port of entry they asked us to show visas and we showed. But the guy standing in window told to go to other building for questioning.
We parked our car and went to other building the officer in that building asked all the questions like
where i am going
what is my visa
nationality
what company i am working for
when it is expiring
entered every thing in computer.

My question was now IS.. BCIS is scrutinizing if they see name in database??(how do they differentiate between criminal and like us). so my name what officer entered does it reflect.
do they send all this information to BCIS??????

I think you misunderstood my question

I am fron india no special registration.

I am coming from canada to US with H1 VISA. At port of entry they sent to further questioning and entred my details into there computer and gave i94. they entred for 30 min i don't know what they entered.
My questions is .

Due they entred in computer. Now BSIS has access to all these computers while issiuing 140. If they they see my name do they do scrutinising time delay?
 
The process done with you is done with EVERYONE (males) from SR Countries. I dont know why they did it with you specially when you are not from SRCs.

When I entered, I was also finger-printed and photographed, and the total process took 4 hrs.

Yes, the purpose of entering info into computers is to have access to it anytime they want. I dont know if they'd do un-necessary time delay just because your name is there. They may do a background check but I dont know how long would that take.
 
ABC111, Can u let me know when you crossed the border from canada into USA? Did you have a visa stamped in your passort or not? Are you coming to USA for the first time with a h1 or did the officer give you a i94 at the border
Please give me the details and based on those answers I think I can answer your earlier question.

I am not coming for the first time i crossed broder for 5 to 6 times.
recently i crossed on mar-15. This is like officer in window took my papers of H1 visa which is stamped in canada. this is my fourth stamp multiple entry. the officer told to go to other buiding by parking my car. In building other officer saw my h1 visa and 1-797.
and issued i-94 and entred in his computer for 15 min asking so many questions like where do i work for how long why i came to canada ETC. may be he entred all my info in to that computer.

SO MY QUESTION is
1. BCIS IS HAVING ACCESS TO ALL THIS COMPUTER SO IF THEY SEE MY NAME DO THEY SCRUTINIZE THE APPLICATION IN I-140 OR 485??
 
ABC111, That is the normal process there is nothing to worry about it. The officer at the first window does not have authorization to issue an I-94. The second officer only has authority to issue I-94. He entered your h1b details into the computer and the questions he asked are all routine questions.
Do not panic. That is the normal procedure and everything will be ok.
