enquiry and LUD

We did an enquiry about 2 weeks ago and my husband's LUD changed on July 1st. (but the msg is still same). Is it normal that the LUD will change after the enquiry? Or is it a good sign indicating somebody was touching our case?
Thanks for any comments.
 
Its quite normal, but usually it takes a month for the LUD to change. You would hear a written decision(a useless letter) in 30 days from the date you initiated the query, which would say that your application is in Vermont, which we all very well know.

Since EB3 numbers are unavailable, any change in LUD doesnt make a big difference to most in this forum.

xbtz, ppl seem to have had varying experience with case inquiries and LUDs. My LUD did not change even after I got a response.

You did not specify if you are EB2/EB3. If you are EB3, then "Want GC Soon" is right. Your approval may not come through before October. If you are EB2, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
 
thanks for your replies. Guess that we just need to be patient to wait for
the response letter. By the way, our 140 was filed under NIW.
