I am also part of the gang which was pummeled becos of INS style of working. Initially, GC used to occupy my mind 24 hrs a day. I used to think of the millions of ways the GC process could be scuttled. It had its toll on my work too.
Then I sat to rethink the whole thing. The EAD we have is as good as our GC. The only thing is that we may not be able to claim unemployment benefits due to the fear of GC being rejected. I have changed job 3 times with my EAD and trust me, I dont bother much abt the actual GC as long as my EAD is valid. I have regained my peace of mind (something which was there before entering this process).
The 2 things which I have consciously refrained from doing :
1. Worrying abt GC
2. Looking at Yahoo finance.
