Employment Letter

Folks,

I got a noratized employment letter (1 copy) and it states this company would like to employ this person on indefinite, full time basis with a salary of $XYZ and then a brief description of the company's activities- it is a simple 1/2 page letter.

I have a few of question around this:

1) Will this kind of employment letter do ?? - I am assuming our HR knows what they're doing as it is not their 1st time.

2) My concern is that the letter does not mention my start date with the company- is that OK ?? I have proof to show the duration of my employment, though.

3) Our HR could've given 3 notorized copies but they gave me 1 and asked me to photo copy them for the dependants - Will the Phtocopies do ?

Would appreciate your comments.

Thanks,

RK

{Looks like it covers the 3 important points, that the position is
open for you, that the salary mentioned in LC is payable to
you , and that the position is full time, permanent .

So, it is OK }

2) My concern is that the letter does not mention my start date with the company- is that OK ?? I have proof to show the duration of my employment, though.

{It need not mention any specific date. It is understood that
the positon is available for you when you enter US as a
PR }

3) Our HR could've given 3 notorized copies but they gave me 1 and asked me to photo copy them for the dependants - Will the Phtocopies do ?

{I don't know why people ask for several notarized copies
when it is not required.

Keep the original with your file, and a copy each for your
dependents. Keep an additional copy for your records. }

Would appreciate your comments.

Thanks,

RK
