Employment Letter

Folks,
Can anyone in this forum give me a little explanation or perhaps a link to information regarding the format of the "Letter of Employment" required to file for I-485? I have an approved I-140 EB1-EA from TSC.
My concern is the word post-doctorate (temporary/permanent). Can it be mentioned in the letter? Should this letter prepared by the Human Resource of our university? or a letter from my current boss would be sufficient?

The Letter of Employment is to be prepared by employer of Immigrant.It should simply state:

Name of Business
Address
Telephone Number
Supervisor's Name


It should state date of employment, your job position/title, salary or hourly rate, your hours per week/month.

It should be prepared on company letterhead(if any)or stamped and signed by supervisor or person in charge.
