employment letter

hey all. our joint sponsor just got his employment letter from work to send with the i-864. however its in a sealed envelope. seeing as everyone advises to make copies of all paperwork do u think i should open the envelope and make copies then send in the original without the sealed company envelope? or should i just send it in as is? thx.
 
It is no secret information.
His income is also stated on the I-864.
Open it and check that everything is ok (company letterhead, possibly signed, title, salary, hours/week, duration and time of employment).
It is not required to send it in a sealed envelope. The only thing that should go in a sealed envelope is the I-693 (but ask the doctor to give you a copy).
