Hi All

I-140 approved and trying to apply for I-485

What's the difference between Employment Letter and Employer's continued Job Offer Letter?

Are both same or different?

Note: My attorney asked a original Employer's continued Job offer letter when applying for I-485 If I provide it will i again get an RFE at the time of adjudicating my I-485?

Just a question

Many of us will most likely get an RFE for Employment Verification Letter (EVL), despite our submission of an employer's letter of job offer.

This is attributed to a long backlog in adjudicating I-485. Most of I-485 takes more than a year to be adjudicated, and USCIS wants to make sure your job offer is still there when they look at your application.

In short, the answer is "yes". You will most likely get an RFE later, even though you send your letter of job offer from the employer along with your approved I-140, medical test results, and so forth.

Will we also get a RFE regarding the tax returns and W-2s even when we submit tax returns and W-2s

Suppose I am submitting tax returns and W-2s for years 1999, 2000 and 2001 now

will I get RFE regarding These later?
