I've worked for a couple of companies in India before coming to the US and I've got employment verfication letters from them in their standard format (the only one that they will provide) - which contains the basic information like designation, worked from so-so date to so-so date etc.
It does not contain a job description (and none of them are willing to provide that).
Now my lawyers are refusing to file the I-140 application until they get an employment letter containing a job description from those employers.
I've suggested other alternatives like client reference letters, notarised affidavits from colleagues but none of these seem to be acceptable.
Could anyone on this board share their experience ?
