Employment letter & job title

The Employment Verification letter states my position as "Sr. Programmer/Analyst" and i just noticed that the LC and I-140 state "R&D Software Engineer". In essence I do the same job function, program and analyze / research and design. Will this be a problem in the interview? I am really worried.

Can we just explain to the officer that the job functions are the same. i have been with the same employer so no AC 21.

I went for an interview on 04/12/05. My LC states that I'm Project Manager, whereas now I'm Senior Software Engineer. I got letter with current title, but tried to fit everything I was doing in my previous company as Project Manager (this was my attorney's advice). Even my salary is 7K less than LC. Officer just mentioned the salary, but accepted (probably due to the fact that it is still above average). She asked me what I do to make sure that my duties are similar (even though it was written in employment letter). She said everything is fine. But, since my A-file has not reached her yet, she could not approve. She will send me approval letter as soon as she will get A-File.
