Hello all,
I, the applicant, have gone through all the steps necessary for my immigrant visa application faithfully. I have already completed the GC interview three weeks ago at the consulate office. However, as of today, I am still denied the final stamp in my passport, due merely to one single wage discrepency in the notorised employment letter. (I have submitted thrice, original plus revised versions of the employment letter to the consulate over the past three weeks and I am still held on.)
I don't know exactly what the consulate office dislike about, but these are the two main things they mentioned:
i. My stated annual salary is lower than the hourly rate stated multiplied by the no. of hours worked per year
ii. My stated annual salary is too low compared to the average wage my peers are getting.
My question to the gurus out there: What are the chances that an application be rejected at the CP if all aspects of the application had been well taken care of except the employment letter? Would the fault of an employer adversely and permanently impact the success of the applicant?
I have worked so hard for the past two years, studying for professional certification courses and English language courses and taking exams, just to get to this final step, and as things turn out, seems like I am likely to be passed over due to circumstances that are totally out of my control!
What can I do?? Anyone, please help!! Thanks!
