Salary in Employment Letter for B2 Sponsor

Hi! Is it a must to have Salary and Temporary vs. Full-time position indicated (explicitly) in the employment letter to be used for sponsorship purposes?

Is there a sample letter for full-time consultants who get paid based on an hourly rate?
