employment based GC; can us ctz wife ????

I obtained my GC by employment, however, i married a US Citizen, now is there a way so that my 3 kids ( derivatives of my employment based GC) who are under 18 will be automatically be a US Citizen, being they are stepchildren of a US CITIZEN. If there is a chance, what am i supposed to do??? any opinion gurus???
my kids are also here in US although with their mom( my ex- wife)who has the custody of the children
 
Your current wife would have to legally adopt your children in order for them to gain citizenship thru her.
I'm not sure whether what I am about to say is true or not, but I believe that in the event your wife adopts your children, their birth mother will no longer have custodial rights.

i heard that my US ctz wife doesnt have to adopt my kids for them to get that citizenshuip thru her. any other opinion, gurus????
 
I assumed she would need to adopt them as my friends had a similar case some 10 years ago. My friend's mother married a USC but my friend and her brother got their GC thru their mother. I assumed that they weren't naturalized as he had not adopted them.
Is there any way for your wife to become a legal gaurdian of your children without adopting them? She might be able to transmit citizenship if they are her ward.
