Got married to USC in Oct 2009. I-485 filed. Received EAD and advance parole Jan 2010.
January 2010 - USC husband withdrew his I-130.
January 2010 - I filed an I-360 based on spousal abuse.
December 2010 - I-360 approved.
I want to submit I-765 for EAD, but I'm confused. The previous EAD expired in December and was linked to our joint I-485 submission. I have a few questions...
Am I applying for a renewal EAD or a new one based on my approved I-360?
I already done all the biometrics and have my A# from the original application so will I need to do this over again? And the medical?
Can I apply for EAD without submission of the I-485?
I'm just concerned about all the fees. I'm in a catch 22 situation. I can't afford the fee for the I-485 but I need to be able to work.
I'd be grateful if anyone could advise.
