I got my Permanent Resident conditional status on 04-07-05 and I was getting ready to send in the petitionary form to remove that conditional status, however while going through my papers i noticed that on my 'Emplyment Authorization' Card The issued date was 01/03/2005 and the Expiry Date was 01/02/2006, which was about a year ago!!
I didnt know that i was supposed to renew that, I thought that the only thing that I had to do now was wait and apply 3 months before the 2nd anniversary of my permanent residency status change to get the conditional status removed. Does this mean that i have now been working here illegaly for a year? what should I do? is there anything that i can do to renew that card now? will i get in trouble for not doing so earlier?
