To people who have gone through the employer-based visa process:
I have several questions.
I understand that you have to meet certain criterias in order to qualify for this visa. I have previously worked in the US for about 8 years in Clinical Research (I don't have a BA or BS degree) but experience in the job i do. Does Immigration consider this experience as well when making the decision about wether i not or qualify?
If i do get an employer based visa, does he have to pay anything for going through the process?
AFter a few years, can i change my status to a permanent resident if i stayed with the same company all throughout in the US?
What if i want to change my job?
