Employer not sending H1 Documents - PLEASE HELP!!!!
I'm working with an Indian consulting company on H1 which got approved recently. I have enough pay stubs to transfer. My current employer (empA) has not sent me *any* documents regarding H1 approval. I have recently got another job offer from another employer (empB). I had asked empA for H1 approval documents and they are postponing matters. I fear they would postpone it long enough so that empB runs out of patience. Please give me some hints as to how to handle this matter.
Can I resign from empA and would still be able to join empB without the I797? Any ideas or conventional wisdom in this matter is greatly appreciated.
I'm sure this is a common problem and there must be ways to get around it!!
