My employer changed its name in May, I got my I140 approved in July. We Submitted I-485 in August with the employer letter stating that the old name is still valid in legal idenification.
When I looked the messages board recently. It looks like it is certain that VSC will issue a RFE for such situation. But when I talked with my lawyer about this, he is certain that we do not need to file I-140 amendment for this name change situation?
Any opinion about this, what should I do to make sure my application will be smoothly?
