employer merger - paystub change

I'm already in the I-485 (past 180 days) and my sponsor employer merged with another company. I-140 has already been approved. My employer retained its name and TIN but our paystub shows the other (parent) company.

Do I need to do anything to notify INS? My lawyer is thinking of submitting a new I-140. Would that be the correct approach? Or should I just send them notification of employer change thru AC21? Thx.

If ur employer has same TAX id then u should be okie. There must be some place on ur paystub where they might be mentioning old name. Do't go for 140 amendmend go for AC21 use in worst case.
