Employer letter for PR

I have been asked to give employer letter and would like to know if anybody has faced this unique situation and hope to get somebody to provide a sample letter.

1. I changed my US employer after 80 days to the company that I was contracting with. I cannot get an emp letter from my prior employer but can from my current one. Will a letter from my employer interfere with US immigration ?

2. Can I give the start date from the date I started the contract till current (not mentioning when I became permanent) ? Or is it better to sync with US immig and say I was employed with the original and mention when I became perm with the new one ?

3. Also was asked for medical but no date was menioned. Can anybody tell me when I should take my medicals ? (I am asked to send documents like bank stmt etc within 90 days)

4. Should I send the ROLF with the documents (within 90 days) or can I wait till landing ? By when should I pay the ROLF ?

Thank you very much and good luck to every one

(Canadian Immigration has nothing to do with US. However if you are also persuing US Immigration, at some time you will have to decide where you want to live permanantly US or Canada, and decide which PR /y you would like to keep) Letter from your current employer should be sufficient. The letter should be a original and should clearly state your job reponsibilities, salary and dates of employment. Make sure you write a letter as to why you cannot provide the letter from your previous employer. If necessary enclose copies of paystubs as proof of employment.

(My advise with you is never ever lie anything or put false information. It's not worth the heartburn in the long run)

(If you have not been asked to wait, then go and get your medical exam done).

4. Should I send the ROLF with the documents (within 90 days) or can I wait till landing ? By when should I pay the ROLF ?
(You certainly can. If you don't send it now, you will get another notification to remit the ROLF. Then wait for 3 months, before you receive a letter asking you to send your passport.)

my letter 3 yrs was just 2 paragraphs and looked something like this.

this is to certify that blah blah is working with this company since blah blah yr and is paid so and so much and unlined are the tasks he/she handles.

list ur skill set.
list the projects you handling

add another line indicating whatever is stated above is true and the employer is willing to provide additional info if needed.

(the letter was to indicated that yes i was employed *and* to indicate how long i had been working since points are awarded by no. of experience. in your case you might have to take as many letters from previous employers as needed to raise your no. of yrs of work experience).

hope this helps.

p.s. as stated already by vault, Can immigration has nothing to do with US immigration so don't bother matching dates etc. Try to give as much work experience yrs as possible.
