Employer Cuts Pay while getting ready to Apply 485 **

My friend has a unique situation. He is about to file his 485 next month. But his employer is going to cut his pay due to sluggish economy. Will there be any impact/problem in his 485 process? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I hope no problem. Recent news paper, web reports says pay up or down will not affect as long as he/she holds the same position as given in LC.
