Employer after GC!

I have read too much about H1-B portability and AC21.
I understood that one can leave employer after 180 days of filing I-485.
My question is can we change employer after GC approval? or after how many days? or we can not change employer at all?

After GC approval, change employer. Lawyers say wait 6 months, but I have *NEVER* heard of anyone get in trouble. So yea .. change jobs and celebrate ur freedom.
