My dad very sick and my family need me back to Thailand but I didn't ask for advance perole before , so what can I do ? Now I told my Mom to sent me the letter from the doctor and translate in Eng . and the letter from my mom . Someone told me if I go to INS office by person maybe they will approve my case in the same day , Is it true. Please ! Help me. sorry my English not real good . Hope you understand. Thanks
 
sorry I forgot , I came to US by K1 . I was marrige and apply to change status already. Now I just wait for green card interview appointment.
 
very sorry to hear about your father. you should definitely try to go to your local office with the doctor's letter. have it translated if necessary and notarized. some - but not all - people have success in getting emergency advanced parole when they do this.
