Hi,

My wife is planning to travel abroad in two days (on Tuesday). However, today (Sunday) we've just discovered that we've lost/couldn't find her green card!!!

So, the question is: is there any document that will allow her to travel abroad and back? And how could we get it tomorrow, if ever possible? We are under the Los Angeles DO, but the earliest infopass appointment available is June 6th. If we go to the DO office tomorrow first thing, would we be able to talk to anybody to get such document in a day? Any if possible, who should we talk to?

We desperately need your help and suggestions! Thanks a lot in advance!

I know of 2 things you could do, and I am not sure but here are my first thoughts.
1. If your passport was stamped less than a year ago, and your wife will be back prior to stamp expiration date she MAY be ok.
2. Try walking into the office abd explain. I know in Detroit there is a guard at the entrance, so he/she will have to be the first person to talk to. Hopefully they will be able to assist with answering questions.

If anybody else has any other idea, please assist,
