Hi,

I need emergency advance parole.Can anybody tell what all papers I should take while going to local sanjose office.Did anybody have any idea about san jose INS office whether they will approve emergency advance parole or no.I need to travel India in mid february my first AP expired on 9th Jan 2004.Any suggestions will be helpful.

They will issue emergency parole if they are convinced it is an emergency - have adequate documentation at the very least to support your case. Also take a letter from your employer stating your salary and that you are a full-time valued employee.

Most likely they will issue a 30-day parole from the day of your application. So make absolutely sure you return before the 30 days, unless you have your 1-year AP approved before you leave. Do not leave without an approved emergency or regular AP.
