Dear ALl,

Actually my in-laws suffered an accident in India and on of them died. My mother-in-law is serious. My 485 is pending. I dont have an advance parole. How to get one at local office. I had the fax stating that Mother in law is in critical condition. The Milwaukee office said that they cant issue a emergency travel document.

I need to go to India ASAP. I have already applied for Advance Parole on Monday but it takes 50-60 days for application to be approved.Please let me know on how I can expedite the AP approval.
 
Can you try your Senator office or something like that route.

I have no idea about this, but trying you suggest something. Can they influence your local/regional INS office to issue an Emergency Parole?

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope you find a way for this.
