Emergency AP while waiting for the Receipt Notice and AP approval

Hi

I applied my AOS in CSC on 02/26/2003. I live in New Jersey and I need to go out of the country by Mid Week of April. Can I apply for an Emergency AP in New Jersey while waiting for AP from CSC ? If so, should I wait for for the Receipt notice ? Will there be a problem if I apply for the Emergency AP in NJ as my case is pending in CSC ?

Appreciate your help on this.

I am also waiting for AP approval my AP RD is 10/04/2002. Please let me know too the procedure for getting an Emergency AP, if you get any replies.

If you do NOT have a reciept from CSC and need the AP urgently, apply for a new AP (with fee, photos etc) in person at either Santa Ana or LA office.

It can be done; my wife did it this morning at the LA INS.
