Emergency AP - Request to CSC by FAX ?

Hi All,
my AP renewal is pending in CSC for last 2 months and I have no hopes of getting it in next 3 months.
Mean while, I have to travel on Business trip in a month and I came to know from NCS Center officer that I have to send the fax to CSC.
I was wondering whether anybody has successful experience of getting Emergency AP in SFO or in CSC or sent Fax papers to CSC.

I would higly appreciate if any of you provide the details about those faxed papers like the reason, letter from the company regarding the trip etc.

Any experience details would be helpful.
