Emergency AP - help needed - URGENT

I have filed my AP in CSC (RD 11/22)and residing in Atlanta. I have to travel by this month end and my H1 expires in first week of March 2003.

I guess I have an option of travelling with my H1 and come back before its expiry.

My questions are:

1. If I come back by last week of Feb 2003, will there be any issues at the port of entry?

2. Have anyone got emergency AP at Atlanta INS office? Please share your experience....

3. What are the documents needed for emergency AP? I guess I-131 form, Copy of I-131 receipt & I-485 receipt, H1 visa papers, Passport with stamped visa and what else? Do I have to pay again? Do i need to take photos?

Appreciate your help and thank in advance

Should not be any problem, take all the necessary docs with you.

I am not sure if you can get emergency AP if you have filed you 485 from CSC, sicne I was in boston and my 485 was filed from CSC, they (boston INS) did not gave me EAD(yes EAD) so i guess same rule apply on AP also.

Same docs which were used for normal AP application , I am not sure about Fees. But emergency AP is considered only in case of birth and death of immediate family. INS does not consider uncle aunt grand parents in immediate family.

It is not a legal advice just a friendly opinion
