Emergency AP help in Philly / DE area

My fried lost his mother back in India . Anyone has experiece of Emergency AP in Philly / Delaware area. please post a reply on thi s.

He has H1B valid till May'2004 but does not have VISA stamped on the passport . His is concerned that they won't stamp visa as his H1B expires within next 2-3 months .Please post your replies . Thanks

Sorry to hear abt ur frnd. Ask your friend to get death certificate from India (probably fax or speed courier) and go to nearest INS local office for AP. Most INS office issue AP on the same day irrespective of urgency.

They have to issue AP on emergency basis or rather on humanitarian grounds. If this doesn't work contact your local senator and they will do the needful.

Sorry to hear abt ur friend . Philly immigration officers are very rude.

as SAM99 said , meet the local congressman ,ask them to call the philly office and take a letter of confirmation from congressman .
Go to philly office they will issue the AP on spot.

I am sure they will issue.
