Emergency AP for official reasons??

Does anyone know if i can get emergency AP for official reasons? Never applied AP and probably after 3 weeks, i may have to go to Canada for a project.

Already sent fax to BCIS since case is 30 days beyond JIT 485 date.
 
I tried to get one in Charlotte, NC last year but was told that local centers do not process emergency AP and I had to go to CSC in California

Yes..I applied for an Emergecy AP at the local UCIS in Charlotte, NC. I did not go to California and did not pursue AP anymore
 
Its very hard...

to get an emergency AP - but dont give up. The emphasis is on financial or emotional hardship, particularly with regard to family. Why dont you try the angle of getting you employer to write a letter, letting the CIS know that the project is vital to the company?

Then fax it through to the division that deals with APs and see where you go from there. Attach a covering letter pleading your case.
