Emergency AP For Employment Reasons???

Has anyone had any experience in visiting the local INS office to try to obtain an emergency AP for employment reasons??

Basically my boss told me that I will likely be fired if I do not attend a crucial client meeting next month in Canada.

(My I-485 is based on my approval under extraordinary ability, so my I-485 approval will not hinge upon me being fired.)

My AP has been pending for more than 6 months at TSC and my AP will likely not be approved for another 4-7 weeks given their current progress.

SydneyRacquelle,
Iam visiting the local INS Office in dallas coming monday.
Mine is not for employment reasons.
I will post what goes on.

I heard from most of the people in this forum that its very hard to obtain from local office. In my situation i have to try and leave the rest.

My AP RD is 16 July,2003

Can u tell us what's ur AP rd.

I am sorry. I can see now why you hate me for my AP coming thru. Wish I can transfer it in your name. I did not even need it.

Never a dull moment with TSC in your life.

SydneyRacquelle - "Severe financial loss to company" is definitely a "valid" reason (per BCIS' definition) to expedite AP. I am attaching a link to a standard expedite request to BCIS. It might be worth a shot to fax this to Dallas before you make a visit to the local office. Good luck!

SydneyRacquelle - you are welcome.
Poongunranar - I got the file from some other thread in this forum, I don't remember which one. This file seems to be from the Shusterman website, since the file-name is:

BTW, our AP ND is June 25th. We have tickets for Jan 29th. I don't think that we are going to make it, but the recent posting about the Jan 21 approval has given us some hope.
