Emergency AP at San Jose

Has anyone got emergency AP at San Jose office, please let me know as to what all document is required, I need to travel by end of this month and was wondering how can I get an emergency.

it is very difficult to get one, unless there is real emergency. according to bcis, emergency is death of a close relative (parents or siblings). in such a case, u need to get a death certificate faxed from india.

i had to travel 2 months ago but could not get an emergency AP despite submitting a fax stating that my mother was hospitalized.

anyways, no 2 experiences are similar. u could give it a try..

As far as I know, you can get AP's the same day you go to the local office. Of course you need a valid emergent situation to compel your travel. Taking care of own property in India is a valid emergent reason. No harm in trying!! Would love to know your experience.

I tried to apply for mine at Charlotte, NC BCIS office and I was told I'll need to go to CSC as they have all my paperwork.
