Emergency advance parole...

Folks-
I and my wife applied for AP in mid January as we wanted to travel outside to visit my wife's mother who was terminally ill. My wife got her approval in mid April and left country 10 days ago.

Unfortunately, my mother in law died yesterday.

My question is by your experiences;

- do you think I can get emergency AP if I go to local office? (based on my relationship)

- What documents do I need to take with me to apply?

- Do I need to take photographs with me?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

i would think that maybe you can take a print out of the information that you got regarding the death(telegram or email) and also take with you that your wife went by eAP. this would substantiate that you also probably want to attend the death.

as long as ou know whcih center to go to, you must know how exactly to go about since you got it for your wife already!
