Email update for I 485 before code 3 FP...weird??? NEED HELP

My wife recevied her FP code 3 notice for I 485 on 2/2/06, FP is due on Mar 2, 2006. I have not heard anything from USCIS about my FP or I 485.

Later on Feb 23, 06 I-485 update (for my wife)was:

"On February 23, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued"

We are totally confussed!! What does this means????

Any information will help us a great deal.

Call USCIS and ask.

Please call USCUS and ask them what the Approval Document means? I am i the exact same situation. My wife called them and they say, the case is approved, which is not true and my wife would get GreenCard only after I get it.
So, please call and update us.

It seems like the newest trend from :eek: USCIS

First : Get biometrics notice, code 2 or 3
Second : Get email (only wife) with the message "the document we made upon approval or registration...."
Third: Making everybody wonder if they are approved or not :mad:

I get into the same situation today, please advise

It seems I am not the only person in this situation. Today, I received my wife's biometric notice for mid March. Nothing for me so far (my I-485 was filed 6 mos earlier than my wife's). The email update did not show this notice, I am wondering whether the people issuing FP notice work independently of the case processor. Please post the followup if you have fingured out what your actual reason for this situation.

It is not uncommon for wife to get notice first. You should get yours soon. Usually, you dont' get email or change in case status when USCIS send notice for FP or Biometrics. You and your wife might get LUD after these are done. Then you just have to paitienly wait their next move.

Thanks for your reply. My wife if not currrently in US, she plan on coming back in mid April. Do you think I should request for reschedule or my wife change her schedule? The notice sounds very serious, and reschedule may have major delay in case processing. It sounded like they will process the case tomorrow:)!!! What a freaky message they are sending out to people.
