email response for Name check

My wife sent an email to request name check status on December 6th 2004. She received an email response on April 20th 2005 that her name check is cleared on December 6th 2004. So I think they cleared her name check on the receipt of her email or it may be a coincidence.
But I sent an email on Nov 16th 2004 but have not got any email response. Anyone here experienced similar situation?

I emailed an inquiry on January this year, I guess it's too early to expect a response.
