Email notice of RFE for wife, not me

I believe it's abt Medical. Informed Attorney. Will have more once RFE is received.
Don't know why I did not receive one.
I,my wife and son have our medical in one envelop. Hope they handle ours together.

This is indeed great, although not perfect. At least you know they are working on your case now. Congratulations in advance!
I think it is very possible that you will not get any RFE. Your wife's RFE might be the marriage certificate or something else. They need that in order to approve your whole family together. You just wait and see. You will get your approval any day from now.
 
Latest update.

Just after I submitted the first message in this thread. I received RFE notices for my son and myself. Totally convinced they are all for medicals since medical is mandatory for 485 applications and I know we didnot send them when my attorney filed our application in 2002.
Will definetly update this great forum.

Thanks for coming back and commenting on our pending cases. Hope I will get chance to do SP at Challotte office. It's truely a relief with this morning's notice from USCIS.
 
As indicated in online status RFE was sent out on May 27th. Up to this moment of Jun 3rd morning my attorney hasn't received them.

Concerned that mailes might have gone to old address(Attorney moved after filling).Then will be returned to USCIS. What a scenerio! It can cost me another couple of months.

Anyone in the same boat ?
 
Since it was a long week end, it usually takes longer for the mail to come through. Last time when I got the RFE for my 3rd EAD, it took one week. The time online status said RFE sent does not mean the time RFE left the TSC mail room. Also, you can try to call the 1-800 number to explain your lawyer's changing address thing and ask them to send one RFE copy to your home address.

Thanks for the comforting words. Do they usually offer a RFE copy to home address ? Will defintely try it.

1). One example. my online message said "the letter mailed on march 25", but when i received it on march 30, the post stamp on envelop marked on march 29 from Texas, that means they may not mail your letter on the day they process your case, maybe your officer stacks all mails together and give them to post office when he/she feels the mail basket is full. also plus long weekend, maybe this guy is still on vacation ...

2) most important. you are the primary applicant, they have NO question on you (no rfe), that definitely means they have NO question on your case! just as i said above, your case has been approved already when they only filed rfe to wife and kid.

you are just fine, this is the way ins give us plastic card, we all know that :cool:

I did call their 800 number and was answered by a very nice young lady. She was so nice that she went to ask her supervisor after I asked for a dup RFE sent directly to me. Back she told me that her supervisor believe that RFEs were always sent to attorney if requested exclusively by attorney, otherwise a ourturse copy will also be sent to applicant. I understand this as a NO. She also noticed that 15 days has not been elapsed after May 27.

More patience is needed.

Finally RFE received on June 17.
(1) Status proof
(2) Employment letter
(3) Medical

Will respond next week sometime.

You are one step closer to your final approval! Are you going to respond to the RFE by yourself or you have to use your attorney?

My attorney has already got all copies ready except for my Employment letter which my HR manager is out and promised to have it ready by next monday. Then I will fedax it to my attorney and hopefully RFEs will be out to its destination before next thursday.
 
TSC got it on June 30

On June 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
