Email about Current Card production ordered

Hi,

I just got an email about Card Production ordered today and that i will get it within 30days. I am so happy about this. Thanks alot everyone who answered my questions here and best of luck to everyone who has been waiting.

Can someone tell me how long will it take to get the card in mail?

I guess it all depends where you live. I am in Florida and i got my green card in my mailbox 6 days after approval email.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS


Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On June 28, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
 
The same thing happen to me and i got my Green card yesterday and today, i got my approval notice letter.
 
The message again changed to "Card Production ordered" and LUD changed again. Now on my protfolio i have message abt card production ordered. But i got anotice for Biometrics code1. the date on BIO letter is before approval letter. I am planning to go for BIO anyways but just wanted to know if this something usual or anyone expereinced the same thing before.
 
My card production was first posted on JUne 22 2007 and then 3 days later they changed to On June 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS.

I got my green card on the mail on Friday, June 29th 2007 and on saturday, June 30th 2007, i got my approval notice welcome letter via the mail.

The last time i did a BIO CODE 3 was May 18th 2006.

I justed checked my case status and it still remains as " Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS.

5. Your application is approved however you may need to schedule BIOMETRICS appointment.

You are approved but somoene somewhere messed up and forgot that you need BIO to go on your card. So the officer approved your case and said ok let me order his new card but couldnt find your BIO so he can't go back and dis-approve your case so this message is generated.

You can take an infopass appointment or a BIO is sent out to you. If a BIO appt is not sent out, you can go to your local office who will issue you a temp card and send you to the Application Service Center(ASC) of your area to get your BIO done. After BIo is done, #4 is the message you will get.

You have nothing to worry about just do the BIO.
