Hello Everyone.
I did my Masters in the US and have been working for a US company for 2 months of a H1.
I am considering going to Vancouver, Canada for the first time F1->H1-B stamping. However, I just realized that my H1-B petition was approved using my Indian University degrees and not my US degree.
In the US VISA appointment letter it states that the for first time applicants with degrees not from US or Canada, they are unable to validate the authenticity of degree and recommend obtaining the VISA from the country of permanent residence.
In my case, I can provide my original US degree/transcripts but the H1-B was approved based on the Indian degrees.
Is it advisable for me to go to Canada for stamping?
Thanks for your help in advance.
