eligible for canadian citizenship and oci card?

Hi ,
i was born in 1983 in canada..my parents were on a work permit than..Ever since then we are staying in india....i am holding a indian passport right now....am i eligible for the citizenship?...i have my canadian birth certificate..plz guide me..and then can i apply for my oci card immidiately after that?

The question is: are you a Canadian citizen or an Indian citizen? If you are an Indian citizen, the question of OCI does not arise.

I think you are elgible for Cdn citizenship. Look up their Govt website, their immigration policies are different from those of the US and are more lenient.
The plus point is that you can get citizenship fast. The down side is that finding jobs in harder in CN and the weather is a big issue till you get used to it. So if you have a good life and job in India you have to consider whether the move is worth it.
If you get Cdn citzship then you can apply for OCI based on your Cdn passport.
