Hi,
My wife has been a PR for over 10 years . She had been travelling in and out of the country by taking reentry permits . But the last time when she travelled out she was outside the country for more than 2 years . She was allowed to come back on 1 Nov '99 even though she had crossed her 2 yr limit.

Is she still eligible to apply for citizenship 4 yrs and 1 day after Nov'99 or does she have to wait a few more months to satisfy the
4 yrs and 9 months rule ? Can anyone here help me . Thanks
 
Thanks for the response . Yes, she returned within the validity date of the re-entry permit . But we don't have the re-entry permit with which she came back . Does INS have any records of the re-entry permits? Can we apply for her citizenship ?
