Eligibility Notice

can you elaborate more

at what stage did you get the notice. is 140 approved and they sent it for 485 or is it concurrent filing without 140 approval yet etc. I must admit that i havent seen something like this on this forum
 
Thanks for your reply, 140 has been approved almost 2 yrs ago, waiting for 485 approval, have gone thru EAD renewals, just spoke with INS officer who says they have mailed me an eligibility notice, I got no further elaboration from the officer.
 
Sound to me as if that means that you are approved. Eligible = that you have a right to something. Wouldn't that mean you are approved and get your green card?
