Hi All,

I was born in Iran but Iam a citizen of India and hold India's passport.
Iam currently in USA and would like to know if iam eligible for DV program ?

Yes, you country of citizenship & where you live doesn't matter, what matter is where you were born only... But are you LEGALY in usa? If not then forget it, you won't be eligible
 
yes Iam in USA legally ,Came here on F1 visa and now Iam on H1B visa working in USA.
What are the % chances of Iran born being selected for DV program ?
When would the DV 2013 open?
I recently came to know abt this so I still have no clue abt this.

I can't tell, you have to look at the buletins... look at the numbers of entries & the number of selected years per years.
for instance, i calculated for me (angola) & my chances was 5.2%

how did people usually apply for DV lottery.
I googled it and found 2-3 websites but these doesnt look like USCIS's website.
Could you plz post the actual website.
 
through the us ambassy website. all the other website are illegitimate companies, just through the us ambassy, & for this year it is over, try for next year which should start early october
