Does any one knows what ISEAS Electronic Verification means. My little brother got admission into a four year college here, and when he went to the American Embassy with his form I-20, the visa officer said he should bring an ISEAS-Electronic Verification before he would be issue a student visa. Please does any one knows what kind of document that is?

Effective September 11, 2002, no F, J, or M visas may be issued unless the sending institution has entered the principal applicant's name into the ISEAS database. If for some reason your name has not yet been entered into the ISEAS database, please request your academic institution or exchange program sponsor to confirm your enrollment at that institution to us by e-mail. They may e-mail the U.S. Embassy once your name is entered. Our e-mail address is: nivnd@state.gov

Do let us know if you were able to get your school to enter it in ISEAS for your brother and how did embassy react to it
My friend is in similar situation and the student advisor is saying that they will be able to do this only after Embassy is ready to issue Visa. To me this looks like Catch 22 situation.
