Electronic I-765 filing

Hi,

I applied to renew my I-765 online and it was received 2/27/04. I did not get anything in the mail about taking my photo or fingerprints. Do they rely on photos they already have in the system? Do I have to take my photograph and fingerprints again? And if so, when? Will the BCIS contact me about photos and fingerprints and should I wait until they do? My current EAD expires on 17/7.

usually you have to call customer service to setup the appointment for biometrics.

No. Call customer service and setup appointment for biometrics to be taken at your local ACS. You should have received the instructions, when you printed out your receipt notice right after filing was done electronically. In electronic filing, you get your receipt notice immediately and you have to call customer service to setup appointment for your foto and pic to be take and local ACS.

My current EAD expires on 17/7.
You better hurry.

smart guy...thanks for your advice...i went today and got my biometrics. Arrice at 7:30am and was out and done 8:15am...
