Eight New Approvals

Hey Folks,

After my sad posting of yesterday regarding to the processing dates not moving as expected I made a scan for 01-258 that is my range number, guess what? Eight new approvals on 11/13/03 for this range.
I compared the results with the scan I made on 11/10. 1 number went from resumed to approved. 1 number went from finger print received to approved, the other six lucky guys went straight from received to approved.
My message never change after my finger print, it is still showing received, so I guess this is a good sign to see people going straight from received to approved.
The sad part about it is that they approved one guy with the number right before mine, they jumped my number and approved another guy with a sequence number right after mine.
I wonder if we ever going to understand this sequency logic at TSC.

Best regards,

JLSBR:confused:

Logic??

jslbr,

If you figure out the logic - let me know. I don't think there is any.

The only logic I can see is that mine is stuck with one of the "slower" IIO.

The sad part about it is that they approved one guy with the number right before mine, they jumped my number and approved another guy with a sequence number right after mine.
Seeing that must have been disheartening. Sometimes it is better to not know too much. Good luck to you in the near future.

This is the best news I've heard in some time. You will get yours approved soon. You must have a ND around 7-8/2001. My ND is 11/2001. Thank you for your post.

keep your spirits up!

Hi JLSBR,
don't get disheartened, GC is just one of the many trials that come in life. There are many other wonderful things we have in life to be thankful about. (ok, now i'll get off the soap box)

about the 8 approvals, what was the FP date and the case-resumed date on them, i.e what was the last time TSC did anything about their cases.

our time will come soon, God willing.

ND - 8/2001
FP - 3/2003

Hi jslbr,
Can you post the Receipt date of the cases that are approved??.

Regarding the theory . It is like playing cards. May be your is distibuted to slow guy/girl.

It's nice to see some approvals. It looks like TSC is atleast working on 485 cases. There is no need to find out the logic as there is no logic.

Folks,

Thanks for all your support, roughfully my turn and everybody else in this forum is comming soon.

regards,

JLSBR

Jlsbr,
That is encouraging news.
Can you post the updated excel file and I will update the consolidated file.
After a good October, hope we get a better November approval rate.

Goastros,

Please see the attachment as per your request. I also have a trick question:
Can pending application on EAD or AP delay an Approval? The reason for my question is that I have a pending application for my AP that I filled on 9/10/03. I was also thinking about to file for my 3rd EAD by the end of this month. I still have one more year on my H1B and my 2nd EAD will expire only on 3/24/04 but I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and renew it. However they seem to be working on cases around mine and I wonder if I file for a new EAD they would move my file far away or something else. What do you guys think? Wait up to Dezember and then File?

Regards,

JLSBR

jlsbr,

There is no prediction with TSC. Now they will start working with your range and you neaver know there may be some randam selection.... Better apply for the Remaning EAD and AP if you don't have.

It won't delay the process for 485 pending EAD and AP. If you got approved 485 they won't issue your EAD and AP, because you already got your 485 adjusticated. You don't loose if you apply for EAD, only application fee, that all.

If you have H1 valid and working on H1 and no need of EAD then think....for $120 wasting, otherwise my suggestion apply for EAD atleast not AP.

Thats All,
BaSh.

SRC02256 Scan

I am attaching the I485 scan for SRC022565**** (Aug 28, 2002) - my ND. I found 3 approvals in October 2003 and 1 in Nov 2003 (Under Misc.). Mine is still the majority - Received. Interestingly, there were several approvals in Nov/Dec 2002.

I did the scan over several weeks, so some of these might have changed status. Does anyone know if there is a macro to re-scan just these SRC numbers??

Our AP ND is June 25, 2003 - still waiting of course.
