efiling EAD and AP

Hi there,
I need some feedback on the following issue: I just mailed my I-485 (EB1) yesterday to Texas Service Center. I am still contemplating on efiling EAD and AP, followed by mailing the supporting documents for these two forms. Some friends cautioned me against doing this because of the possibilities of USCIS misplacing snail-mailed docs...

Can folks throw in their "similar" experiences... particularly if any of you out there have had bad experiences of misplaced documents (by USCIS) or any such confusions because of efiling the form and snail-mailing the supporting documents?

I personally do not have experience with E-filing, but I read some thread in this forum that they had good experience with efiling. why not do a search for efiling in this board? It might not be in this NIW-EA board. good luck
